Chateau Haut Condissas Prestige 2003

In the glass, this wine is a striking dark garnet in color and leaves surreal trails when you swirl, indicative of its incredible texture. Rich with red fruit, graphite and toast, this wine is medium-bodied, supple and velvety to the core. There is just enough acidity to provide palatial intrigue and be held accountable for the gracious note of orange peel that appears as the curtain draws on the long finish. This wine is the embodiment of the descriptor “velvety”; bravo to proprietor Jean Guyon! At its peak now, but will hold its own for another 2-3 years. Enjoy!
