Like it predecessors, this wine is rich, complex, and simply delicious. Concentrated black fruit and cherry fills the mouth with earthy and herbal notes in tow. The near sweetness of the fruit on the attack is counterbalanced by a distinctive layer of toast and spice adding to the wine’s complexity. With a hefty body, muscular tannins, and ample acidity, this wine is built to last. There’s even a bit of grit in its texture, adding yet another dimension to this wine. Tannins and spice rise on the long finish and culminate in a rich berry soiree. While this wine is approachable now, it will hit its stride in 3-6 months and cellar comfortably for the next 6-8 years. Enjoy!
